Great article! I like the temporary aspect of using them for a short time (Vs 3D immersion). That Victorian era was impressive. Check out The Victorian Internet book all about the Telegraph technology. And the electric one replaced the earlier Napoleon optical Telegraph. Lots to learn from that's applicable for today (email, texting, messaging, computer languages, etc). Thanks. (Ps then there's Max Headroom .. see my post)
