Definitely frustrating with updates, especially when a new feature is prominently displayed (to show off the feature instead of hiding it). I agree that an export and compare should be offered. All the apps have a preference file so they need a meta-preference file. The new Xcode just added cute graphics on all files to redundantly let me know my file.m is a "m" or "h" file (I'm not a Swift fan). Cheers.
