As a computer scientist and app developer, I really like the Apple TV. My same code base can create apps for the TV as well as the Apple Watch, iPads, iPhones, iPods, macs, etc. Each have slightly different display constraints but Apple has done a good job.

Sure all the streaming features I hear about aren’t unique (my internet is too slow for that 21st century invention) but using the Apple TV as a network hub and large screen display is really cool.

I like my Dick Tracy Apple Watch too..
