After just a couple weeks of my loaded M1 MacBook Air - it's very impressive with speed and battery. I use Xcode all the time and it's so much faster than before (2015 12" Mac). And battery works all day. Impressive (and no silly tab bar). Fingerprint recognition cool although my watch beets me to it often. Impressive.
